Lush Blush, Rosé 2022 AOP Côtes de Provence
Α superior fine rosé from the Château de Berne in Côtes de Provence which combines elegance and character. Thanks to cool nights and the chalky soil of the "Haut-Pays" terroir, the vines produce grapes characterized by a remarkable aromatic freshness and finesse.
Lush Blush delivers peachiness on the nose, skin of nectarine, pink grapeftuit and cherry blossoms. One quickly realizes what a complex and special wine Lush Blush is. On drinking, one experiences fruit like peaches and persimmon, pink roses, cherry blossoms, grenadine and a hint of minerality. It is fresh on the palate whilst offering a body of richness in its structure. The wine is very well balanced, so one barely tastes or notices the alcohol. The grapes are harvested during the night when the temperature is cooler, then processed early in the morning, with direct pressings, whilst sourcing the best quality juices. Cold soak before fermentation on lees. Fermentation at 16-18°C, then ageing on fine lees, with regular lees stirring in tanks.
It is above all a wine that has elegance, power, wealth, without being too demonstrative, and it will mostly be pleasant to drink to accompany mediterranean cuisine.
